- 1. Establishment of rules to encourage members to conform to the Installment Sales Act and related laws, and to maintain order in credit transactions.
- 2. Offering guidance to members for the matters of legal compliance, and investigating the status of such compliance.
- 3. Collection of information on member's merchants regarding customer relations as well as providing such information to members.
- 4. Activities regarding the protection of credit card numbers and other personal information related to credit transactions.
- 5. Handling of inquiries and complaints from and giving advice to consumers related to credit transactions.
- 6. Development of human resources for members.
- 7. Promotion and spreading of knowledge regarding credit transactions.
- 8. Survey and research on relevant issues of the credit industry and compiling statistics.
- 9. Cooperating with the government pertaining to credit transactions and submitting recommendations as necessary.
- 10. Fostering communication and building consensus among members and with other parties involved in credit transactions.
- 11. Other activities to achieve the association goals.
